Minifee Wrist Mod

 

You mentioned in one of your doll posts that you converted strung wrists into magnetic wrists. Can I ask how you did that?? I have an old Minifee that I would much prefer to have magnetic hands and feet.thanks for your time! 🙏

Hello! It wasn’t the most elegant job, I just cut the Resinsoul hands in half (right through the palm) and roughly carved the remainder to fit into the magnetic Minifee hands. Then I stuck some Milliput on there to set a magnet in and make for a tighter fit. They still don’t hold very strongly, so I usually use sticky-tac in there too. You could probably do it neater with more patience than me! But I don’t know how to do it without totally sacrificing the hand that will become the wrist. I didn’t mind doing it with the Resinsoul hands because I was not a fan of the sculpt and they are easy and inexpensive to replace.

( 14 November 2022 ) I burnt out on dolls a bit towards the end of the year due to the combination of receiving a LOT of dolls I had been waiting for really close together, and getting ready to move out. But I saw this Lunnula Moonbeams head with a faceup by @theugliestwife that I had missed out on earlier in the year and I had to jump on her! She’s on the leftover mix of Feeple and Delf body parts from Soony.
