Okay, I’m not normally a crossover person, but for some strange reason I’ve had this urge to make one for KND and Space Funeral. This… is my outcome.

Also, sorry for sloppiness. For some reason I thought it was a good idea to draw this with Sharpies and boy WAS I WRONG. I swear I smell fumes just looking at this image.

Back in 2009, Hasbro released probably some of the most random AMAZING Star Wars action figures no one ever asked for. Amongst them was Willrow Hood.

Who is Willrow Hood? An extra seen running past in the background in the blink of an eye during the Cloud City escape scene in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. If you blink, you probably missed him. Hell, you probably missed him anyways.

Interestingly enough, it turned out he was a mining employee who handled Rebel Alliance contacts in Cloud City. If you know anything about Cloud City’s ties to rebellion, that is actually wrong— since Leia had no knowledge of them until after Lando saves them. Why was he running? To destroy the ice cream maker “computer” that held the only information about his contacts.

Turns out, he’s a hero to rebellion after facing torture and being strong willed enough to tell them nothing.

So how did I sell so many of these figures when they first came out?

Simple: I told baffled customers that he was indeed carrying Cloud City’s last remaining source of delicious ice cream— can’t let the Empire have that! He also felt a disturbance in the Force. The Force told him that Malikili would be in need of some Ice Cream. Willrow bravely ran through the halls of Cloud City and was on Tattooine by the time Luke killed Jabba’s pet Rancor.
