And seriously, vaccines are meant to prevent deadly diseases. So even if vaccines did cause autism (which they don’t), you’re saying you’d rather your child have diseases that killed hundreds of thousands of children before vaccines than to be autistic. One of the reasons I love FF4 so much is the nature of the ‘love triangle’ which could have been such a cliched and overplayed card if Kain and Cecil had simply been good friends who then became bitter rivals over a woman. When it actually plays out you realize it pretty much takes an evil overlord’s worth of hypnosis to make Kain act on his feelings. He feels so guilty for having feelings he cannot face Cecil and Rosa when it’s over, although both of them do a credible job of pretending nothing happened..

The most gutting thing about this love triangle is that as much as Kain loved Rosa, he also loved Cecil.
